After the fire that broke out at the Quadrant Market in the Otoka Settlement, Sarajevo has set aside 100,000 BAM for assistance.
The Public Relations Department of Sarajevo stated that “thanks to the Collegium of City Council’s support, the City of Sarajevo has allocated 100,000 BAM as help for the Quadrant Market on Otoka fire.”

Terovic said, “We’re currently working on this and I hope it will be finished soon. They can then take over my part and begin clearing the market. Let’s also see what can be done with the founder and the other levels of government to help.”
He said that the first priority was to give people the opportunity to return to their jobs, but also stressed the fact that it would not be enough to just provide them with space. They will need financial assistance as well.
The goods have been burned and they must buy them again. Terovic said that they would ask the institutions to help them, including the Government of Canton Sarajevo and the City of Sarajevo.
